Trek from Sapa 2 days

A visit to the region of Sapa is a must for trek enthusiasts who wish to see the mountains of northern Tonkin. The sight of mountains covered in abstract patterns of terraced rice paddies is breath-taking. This region is home to ethnic groups that include the Lu, H’Mong, Red Dao and Tay. The friendliness of your hosts will make your visit to this unspoiled wilderness truly memorable.

Day 1 : Sapa / Sin Chai
Leave your hotel at 9 am for the H’Mong village of Sin Chai. Upon arrival, you can settle in to your guesthouse and spend time with your hosts. Lunch in the village. In the afternoon, your guide will tell you the history of the village, in the village hall, as well as educate you on the culture of the H’Mong and their way of life. Later, we walk for 4 km through the forest, or along the road to visit schools and gardens. Dinner in the village; followed by an evening of traditional song and dance by members of the H’Mong in the village hall. Overnight in the village (basic facilities). (Lunch, Din)

Day 2 : Sinchai / Sapa
After breakfast, take part in the daily routine of the villagers by assisting them in chores such as sifting rice, or the preparation of tea for family and neighbours. Lunch in the village before heading back to Sapa in the afternoon. (B’fast, Lunch)
