The Perfume pagoda

In near silence, a long boat will take you past sugar-loaf hills; the surrounding trees disappear in a mist that hovers above land and water, and you get closer to the mountain.   Once at the foot of the mountain, you begin the climb towards the various pagodas, which constitute the birth place of Buddhism in Vietnam: Thien Tru, Giai Oan, and Huong Tich. There are many statues, ornamental roofs, drums, and pilgrims.  You will be moved by the peacefulness of this wondrous place.
