Cuc Phuong

   
This is the foremost national park in Vietnam, created in 1962 to preserve the flora and fauna. You may just want to come here for a relaxing picnic, but you will feel uplifted by the thought that it is home to so many protected species of plant and animal. Primary forest, a cave said to date back to prehistoric times, a tourist centre and a warm welcome from the locals will make a visit to Cuc Phuong a trip to remember.
